Eleven points off Motivation in one cycle. The pre-close recommendation was deferred on 19 December behind the equity partner earnout waterfall, so this group entered the busy season with the question still open and now with an owner two thousand miles away.

Motivation at 44 in a group with no knowledge of a transaction. The cause predates the read by two years: partnership admissions were quietly stopped in late 2023 while the firm explored a sale, the stop was never announced as a stop, and directors kept hearing next year. The recommendation attached to this finding was to name the partnership path in writing, from Meridian, before close.
A confidential transaction is not disclosable to staff, so these 58 people answered a culture and engagement read commissioned by Dennis Coyle in his own name. Nobody was deceived and nobody was asked about a deal. The workspace states the disclosure level rather than leaving it to be discovered.
